Should I repair or replace my AC?
If the system is in good shape and the failure is a part like a capacitor, motor or drain, repair it. If it is old, runs on R-22 and has a major failure like a compressor or a coil leak, replacement usually makes more sense. We explain both options before any work starts. See AC replacement.
Why does my AC keep freezing up?
Usually low airflow from a dirty filter or coil, or low refrigerant from a leak. Turn the system off to let it thaw and call us. Running it frozen can damage the compressor.
