Commercial Cooler Repair in Little Havana — Restaurants, Cafeterias and Markets
Calle Ocho runs on refrigeration. The ventanitas, the cafeterias, the fruit markets, the restaurants that have been in the same room for forty years — when a cooler goes down here, somebody’s whole day stops.
Walk-in coolers, freezers, display cases, bar coolers and ice machines. 24/7, and we answer in Spanish. Call 786-905-5632.
Old buildings, tight kitchens, improvised installs
Much of Little Havana’s commercial space predates the equipment in it by decades. Walk-ins were fitted into rooms never designed for them, condensing units ended up wherever there was space, and the electrical was extended to reach.
Two things follow. Condensing units in closed back rooms with no ventilation run far hotter than rated and struggle every afternoon. And equipment added over the years often shares circuits it should not. Both get misread as a refrigerant problem, and both are fixable once somebody actually looks.
Equipment older than the technician
We regularly work on units from the eighties here, and a lot of them are worth keeping. A well-built walk-in box outlasts several refrigeration systems. Panels, floor and door are frequently sound when the mechanical side is finished.
If somebody tells you the whole thing has to go, ask exactly which part failed. Replacing a condensing unit on a good box is a completely different number from replacing the walk-in. We will tell you which one you are actually looking at.

Common questions
Do you speak Spanish?
Yes — on the phone and at the job. Sí, atendemos en español. See our página en español sobre cuartos fríos.
Can you come before we open?
Yes, and in a small kitchen that is usually the only sensible option. Tell us your hours when you call and we will work around service.
My walk-in is at 47 degrees. How long do I have?
Not long. Cold holding is 41°F or below. Above that you are accumulating product risk and inspection exposure at the same time. Keep the door shut, move what you can to a unit that is holding, note the time, and call.
